Drew Nascimento from the Peterborough Petes dropped by today with your very kind donation of 50 Petes Tickets for opening night to be used by children and families involved with the Kawartha-Haliburton Children’s Aid Society. I have attached the photo he took of myself, and Peterborough Petes players Declan and Chad.
I can’t tell you how incredibly grateful we are. Our Foundation’s mandate is to provide enrichment opportunities for KHCAS kids. Many of these children will have never seen a live hockey game before – this will be such an incredible experience for them to not only enjoy but also talk to their friends about.
